For me the third installment of R.A.Dalkey’s travel adventures is his best one yet. This book takes us back into his youth when he started to dream big. R.A.Dalkey wanted to be a truck driver down under and he didn’t let anything stop him. While many obtain their driving licence on their first attempt and still give up on some of their dreams, R.A.Dalkey’s five attempts did not put an end to his big dream. On the contrary, his attitude is more like, if you fail once, why not try again, and again, and again and again. As a result of his ordeals, we are taken on a fun journey to the other side of the world (for most of us) where we encounter the friendliness not only of the Australian outback but also surprisingly of urban Australia.
